VIBE ONE BURLESQUE/PUSSYCAT DOLLS
(Open/Beginners)
A sensual, low-impact, feminine dance class -- learn to be more confident, fierce & sexy, & find out how to accentuate your best features in a fun, friendly, low-pressure environment. Inspired by the choreographies and dance moves from the latest Pussycatdolls/Beyonce/Britney etc videos, this class teaches simple yet effective routines, helping students learn to move in a confident, sexy way -- without being too risque. There is absolutely no stripping, or poles in any of our classes -- just fun, flirty choreography to new & old music - fast & slow. Learn new routines weekly, to different songs each week. Beginners welcome.
(Intermediate/Performance)
The same as above -- however this class concentrates more on technique, carries on choreographies each week (as opposed to beginning a new song & forgetting last weeks set like in beginners class) & often uses props (eg chairs, canes etc). This class is for students who have attending 8 or more beginners classes and want a bit more of a challenge. The class learns set routines & they will come out with a finished piece at the end of the course. There are often chances to perform, although it is not guaranteed every course. This class is also low pressure, but it is recommended that you have either completed 1-2 beginners courses with us before, or you have dance experience prior to joining. The Intermediate classes require commitment and we recommend that you make it to every week to make sure you dont miss out on any choreography.
If you've done a lot of other kinds of dance, but little to no burlesque, and you still want a challenge, we recommend doing a beginners and intermediate course side by side. You'll learn the basics and foundations in beginners class, so that you can get familiar with the style, while working on technique and choreography in the intermediate course. Our classes starting on Monday Mar 15, 2010 are so well-priced that it's completely do-able. Check out our timetable page for more details.

VIBE ONE "DUETS"
A class for both guys and girls, this class teaches choreography inspired by the final dance scene in the movie "Step Up" (click here to watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7Hmrf0GTso). The class teaches students how to work together in partnership, as well as mutually exclusive of each other (ie able to hold your own on the dance floor, without your partner, as well as being supported by them or supporting them depending on what is needed). Using new, recognisable music tracks, the class aims to teach dips, simple lifts, spins & partner work, throughout the course. No partner is required. Ask us if you have any questions & we'll let you know if it's right for you.
VIBE ONE "HIPHOP"
Hiphop is a dance class designed to teach people of all levels how to move & put together routines to the latest music. The class is inspired by music by Beyonce, Ne-Yo, Amerie, Mims, Justin, Michael Jackson, Rihanna and more. Not too "gangsta" but not too "jazzy" either, the courses aim to teach 3-4 routines over the 8 weeks, with students moving from simpler routines, progressing to more complex, faster choreographies over the course. Commitment is required, but we'll have you rockin' out in your Adidas Tracksuit, Gold Chains, Flat-peaked cap, and grill in no time. Beginners welcome.

VIBE ONE MICHAEL JACKSON DANCE CLASSES
Learn how to dance like Michael! The crotch grab, the moonwalk and all of his quintessential moves. Piece them together to famous tracks like Thriller, Beat It, Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal & emulate the true King of Pop -- inspired by the 'This Is It' MJ movie and his countless videos and performances, we pay tribute to our muse! Sequined glove, white socks, short black pants and fedora hat not included. SHAMOWN!

LADY GAGA CLASSES
Learn how to dance like Lady Gaga - inspired by all of her hits and the recent Monsters Ball Concert Tour, we'll be dancing to all of our favourite Gaga songs. Inspired by clips like "Videophone" & "Telephone" with Beyonce, "Pokerface", "Bad Romance" and "Papparazzi" these classes are available to all levels, including absolute beginners. Pay homage to an all round performer, and go GAGA with us! (timetable up now!)
HIP HOP HEELS
A cross between the feminine sensuality of burlesque, mixed with the attitude and energy of hiphop. A great way to learn hiphop moves while staying feminine and powerful, and the best way to get toned, fit, and become a better dancer (without doing something too aggressive). For more of an idea of what this class entails, checkout the Hiphop and Burlesque Class profiles, then mesh them together. No experience necessary and a great challenge learning a new style of dance.
