PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BELOW BEFORE ENROLMENT

NEXT TERM IS STARTING 18th of MAY!

BY CONTINUING, YOU AGREE TO OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ENROLMENT (SEE BELOW)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Currently during the COVID-19 lockdown, all classes are digital and run in 4 week half terms.

Usually, all courses are 1 hour (8 week course duration) but during Level 4 and 3 we will run in 1hour session for a4 week course duration to maintain affordability and accessibility, throughout.

Trials or casual classes are available on request depending on the class (email info@aucklanddance.co.nz).

Intensives are run differently and are show specific with varying hours of learning. Classes are run on a first-in, first-served basis, and are capped (venue dependent). Bookings for all Auckland Dance Company classes are essential.

Attendance is expected in every class, as much as possible. We believe that you get out of it what you put in. Dedication and self-motivation is 100% essential.

Trial classes are $25/class (and $20 for every first-class trial thereafter within the same dance term) for new students or those trialling a new dance style with balance payable for those wanting to continue with a course. Trials are not applicable to students who have already done a course in that style with ADC before and most classes are run in course format as much as possible to promote evolution, learning and growth, moving our dancers towards performances, working towards goals, and fostering dedication and focus.

Our terms for adult classes are $190 for an 8 week course - note: school classes are priced differently), open to all levels including absolute beginners, unless otherwise specified.  All class announcements are made via our facebook page or email/text (and are messaged to enrolled students only). Please note, if you have not booked/paid for your class/course and sent in your payment receipt to ADC HQ you may not be notified on important class changes, or be on the roll.

NB: No-shows and class absences will not be refunded. All students are responsible for their own attendance, alerting the team of an absence and expected to maintain a high level of commitmentAny requested changes in enrolment will be issued at Management's discretion, and administration fees will apply. ADC believes in dedication, commitment and focus.

ADC bears no responsibility for injuries sustained during class. All students understand that they are partaking in a physical activity and will take the necessary personal precautions to protect themselves from injury wherever possible. Our choreographers will do all they can to help make the classes as comfortable as possible for you, should you have injuries, but these must be stated clearly to prior to each class you attend.

Each ADC class expects our students to do their own warm-ups on their own prior to class, so your instructor has the full 50 minutes to teach, and then 10 minutes to polish at the end. Classes are a phone-free zone for all students, to allow all participants to be present in each class. However, ADC Choreographers and ADC HQ reserve the right to film for polishing/promotional purposes.

Performance fees will apply for students wishing to participate in upcoming performances/events, videos, or in any of our dance showcases throughout the year. Catch up sessions (if any) are a privilege (not a right), and will be issued at management's discretion.

No class videos will be distributed apart from those over ADC's social media, an no videoing is allowed in class, due to copyright and management rules. Please allow a potential 10-15 minutes crossover period before/after class. Those who are waiting for their next class are expected to practise and help/talk to others in the class, to prepare for their next group dance session, before class begins.
