ONLINE LEARNING MODULES
ADC’s first online learning video module is out now!

Stretches, drills, show tricks, splits, turns, leaps and more are included in our Show Tricks & Techniques module, which is up on our streaming site.
​
We have had incredible results with our students utilising this module as a way of furthering their flexibility and dance repertoire, alongside their current classes, creating a more diverse range of movement both on and off the dance floor. This module is an investment to use over time - we recommend 2 or 3 times a week to see results within a month.
This Digital Module is perfect to work with in your own time, to complement your classes and to add to your back catalogue of dance moves and range of choreographic and freestyle movement.

We have a number of one-off and term classes that run at various times of the year, and in response to requests.
So take a look at the additional classes we can offer below, and register your interest! When class requests get big enough, we will re-open the class for enrolments and let you know via email.
For new & current students/dancers wanting to build on, improve and create a stronger dance foundation - helping to move them forward in any Auckland Dance Company class and improve performance in shows, and strengthen their weaknesses.
Specifically formulated to improve/learn and brush-up overall technique as well as learn foundation techniques to help improve dance execution, including isolations, freestyling, spins, floorwork and character. Recommended for all of our current students to learn foundation and performance techniques for ADC's upcoming RISE show, or alternately to newbies as a one-off fun workshop for the evening with no obligation to join or perform.
All levels welcome, including complete beginners - a great way to ease your way into dance without committing to a dance term, and to learn the base techniques and movements required to create a strong foundation for all choreographies and styles offered at ADC.

Learn in a non-intimidating, supportive environment, with great people and low pressure.
Spaces always fill fast, numbers are capped, and run on a first-in, first-served basis.
TECHNIQUE WORKSHOPS
We will be in touch when our next Foundation Workshops are coming up!
These classes teach students simple aerial shapes or develop those who already have ample aerial experience and work it into a performance character for optional performance.
Students confident with aerial arts will have the opportunity to incorporate these into the performances, and those wanting to focus on circus character, elements of contortion, and silks shapes and simple movement can incorporate these into their potential performances.
Absolute beginners are welcome to join this class and work on their character and performance, as well as simple base aerial shapes.

CIRCUS FUSION

DATE NIGHT/PARTNERWORK
Our partnerwork classes aim to inspire students to work together (beginners and all levels welcome) - couples/singles and friends alike - learning to master the art of working in a team. Including dips, simple lifts, spins and choreographies, inspired by hiphop, heels, modern and commercial music.
A totally different dynamic compared to other individual dance classes, and not based on ballroom or salsa. The courses teach confidence, chemistry, strength and co-operation, when dancing together and apart on the dance floor/stage.
Partner not required to join this course! Beginners welcome, singles welcome.

MUSICAL THEATRE
ADC'S Musical Theatre classes are for everyone! Singers and non-singers, dancers and non-dancers alike - if you've ever been curious about the wonderful world of Musical Theatre, come and join us!
​
Our classes combine drama, acting, music and dance in a supportive, non-judgemental environment. Welcome to all who love music and musicals!
We have done numbers from Chicago, The Greatest Showman, La La Land, and more. Our talented students are a mixture of absolute beginners and experienced dancers and singers, combining to uplift and support one another. No singing or dance experience required!
